Parenting is a long, sacred journey—one that demands energy, sujood, sabr, and a deep connection to divine guidance. At ARBA, we believe that before you empower your child, you must first become an empowered soul.
Spiritual Capability is a multidimensional set of competencies that enables individuals to harmonize the dimensions of the ruh, ‘aql, qalb, and nafs within the framework of servitude to Allah. It involves:
🌙 Orienting the soul (ruh) toward divine pleasure
🧠 Optimizing the intellect (‘aql) for critical thinking and social benefit
💖 Purifying the heart (qalb) as a vessel of light and guidance
🔥 Regulating the self (nafs) to avoid moral and spiritual harm
This capability is learnable, developable, and measurable—and it must be nurtured not in isolation, but in community.
It Takes a Village to Raise a Child
Parents alone are not enough. We need a bigger family, a community, and a society walking the same path—running toward ridho Allah. That’s where facilitators come in. They are not just educators. They are the parents of the society, the friends in need, and the guides in moments of confusion.
Facilitators help parents awaken their spiritual capability, step by step, through andragogical training, reflective tools, and soul-based learning. They introduce divine messages, protect children from harmful dunya influences, and connect families to warm, righteous (sholeh) communities.
